I had driven by this town many times, with the walls, towers and the chateau catching my attention. One morning I made it the focus of a visit. No regrets. Dions is a peaceful village in the Occitania Region, known for its warm stone architecture, narrow lanes, and timeless rural character. The church remains the heart of the community, while the surrounding streets reveal layers of history shaped by centuries of everyday life.

Over the many years architectural styles merge together.
I walked the streets looking for the windmill, which I did not find, buy I enjoyed things like this attractive window. The windmill? Next visit.
