Sommières

Sommières

Roman aqueduct that carried water from a spring near Uzès to a Roman colony, now Nîmes.

Sommières

Sommières is a charming medieval town built along the Vidourle River. Its Roman bridge, narrow streets, and warm stone architecture make it a wonderful place to wander. The town feels authentic and lived‑in, never overly polished or tourist‑heavy — a place where history and daily life blend naturally. We are already planning a return visit.
