Eygalières
The town developed around a feudal castle and the 12th C chapel on the top of a hill. In 1660 the villagers bought their seigneurialrights from the indebted Duke of Guise by paying his ransom! It is a pleasant walk up the hill to see the chapel and some remains of the castel. The main town at the bottom of the hill has a great vibe, making this town one of the best in the South of France.
